Kendo Charity Bash "Macmillan Kendo Championship"

This Championship is being run solely as a charity event and all proceeds are going to the Macmillan Cancer Relief trust.

the driving force behind this event is Phil McLaughlin one of the British Kendo Associations senior members, On Tuesday 10th October 2006 Phil McLaughlin's father lost his short but very hard fought battle to cancer, his strength, determination and compassion have inspired Phil all his life and have played an instrumental part in his kendo, now Phil and the whole kendo community would like to assist the Macmillan's Cancer Relief trust. By running this event we would like to raise the awareness and efforts of the trust and give back to them in the way of charity fund raising.
