My main experience with joint manipulations is in HapKiDo. I've seen some very good Aikido and Jujitsu players, but don't have a ton of personal experience with Jujitsu. What I can say is that most of the Aikido players I've worked/played with have much larger circles in their motion whereas HapKiDo has very small circles. I tend to find the smaller circles much more effective. So I'd vote HapKiDo, though from what I understand small circle jujitsu has some very good things going for it as well.
I definitely favor BJJ as the best joint manipulation technique. I love all of the submissions and versatility that comes with it and I think the potential for improvement when learning it is endless.
My only issue with BJJ is that most of what I have seen spring up lately had been very sport oriented. I agree that, as with anything of value, there is always great potential for improvement and an endless learning experience. The problem with sport orientation is that it works according to the rules of the sport. And often going to the ground against multiple opponents isn't advisable.
My sensitivity to this comes because I have a strong TKD background and I've seen TKD get bastardized into a commercialized, sportized, money making shadow of itself. My hope is that BJJ doesn't go the same route.
I'm actually kind of torn. I love Kali, but I'll have to say BJJ.
