so... what's the story been with everyone's training? training hard peeps? I've recently invested in some heavier ankle weights to help my leg strength and flexibility :D and i'm only another 2 years towards black belt which should be interesting, think i'll try a ground based martial art to get some all-rounder capability in. judo or jujutsu maybe? i'm not so keen on BJJ...

Hi Pandion, good to see you back! I bet your legs are mighty strong now right! Well I would especially recommend Judo, if you can find a good dojo near you that trains it. But be prepared to *unlearn* most of the stuff you have so far.
Remember Judo means the gentle way, and I suspect that you will have to prove to them that you are capapble of this before they agree to take you on.
Good luck, John.

One should always "do their homework" before "doing anything"

Calm down Beretta, we don't judge here. We don't all believe God objects to homosexuality.

Ahh, the troll discovered the edit quote feature. I thought he would have figured that out ages ago. Good thing I am secure. I don't care if people think I am gay, straight or bi. And yes, I think God does not object to homosexuality because I don't take the bible literally. In fact, I think you are pretty gullible if you believe, out of all the religions and holy books in the world, the one you started out with happens to be the correct one. Every culture has tried to define God and experience the ultimate center of the universe. And every culture colors its text with its own cultural biases. A brief review of the Christian Bible shows this is the case for them as well.
Too bad being home schooled turned you into a moron.

Post edited by: ProfessorPain, at: 2009/09/15 21:14

In honesty, I wasnt trying to belittle your routine, or what you think your routine should be.

no no everyone has their own opinion. my ankle weights have improved my muscle strength and flexibility but i have heard a bit about joint strain.
jumping squats onto a box are awesome for you legs and alround fitness put the box beside you do a full squat (down till your ass touches your heels )on the way up jump onto the box then repeat to get of the box. thats 1 start at 3-5 seta of 25 then work your way up. also good for explosive power

Ive actually taken about 2 months off now, because of classes and the time I need to put into my major in order to stay a part of the major. :(
I miss it very bad though. Can't wait to come back.
